गुजरात के एक साधू 70 सालों से बिना कुछ खाएं-पियें हैं जिंदा

हाल ही चर्चा में आये एक व्‍यक्ति, जिनका दावा है कि उन्‍होंने पिछले 70 सालों से कुछ भी नहीं खाया है और न ही कुछ पिया है। इस कहानी के पीछे क्‍या सच है इसके बारे में कोई पुष्ट जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है !

ये महज ख्‍याति प्राप्‍त करने का तरीका है या फिर से वाकई में कोई अद्भुत चमत्‍कार है  इसके बारे में संभ्रम बना हुआ है । ये दावा करने वाले सज्‍जन का नाम, प्रहलाद जानी है जो अपने आप के लिए ही ऐसा दावा करते हैं। प्रल्हाद जानी को लोग माताजी के नाम से भी जानते है ! कई बार लोगों को विश्‍वास नहीं होता है लेकिन जो लोग उन्‍हें जानते हैं उन लोगों को भी यकीन है कि प्रह्लाद, इतने सालों से बिना खाएं-पिएं हुए रहते हैं। इस बात को साबित करने के लिए प्रह्लाद जानी को दस दिनों तक अलग रखा गया और उन्‍हें खाने-पीने को कुछ नहीं दिया गया। 

एक वेब पोर्टल की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, यहां तक की उस दौरान, उन्‍हें नहाने या फ्रेश होने के लिए भी पानी नहीं दिया गया। हालांकि, इतना करने के बाद स्थिति संशय में ही बनी हुई है। प्रह्लाद जानी एक भारतीय साधु हैं जो अब दावा करते हैं कि उन्‍होंने पिछले 70 सालों से यानि सन् 1940 से कुछ भी खाया-पीया नहीं है। वह हर दिन सुबह 4 बजे से उठकर ध्यान साधना (मेडीटेशन) करते हैं और जीने के लिए ऊर्जा भी उन्‍हें ध्‍यान लगाने से ही मिलती है। 

According to Prahlad Jani, he has not eaten food nor has he consumed water in over 75 years, yet amazingly he is still alive. Moreover, scientific studies show that as crazy as it might sound, Jani may be telling the truth.

The story of this spiritual master is really amazing. He born and grew up in village in the Mehsana District of Gujarat State, leaving home at a very young age, moving away from society, in order to live in the jungle. At the young age of 11, Jaani experienced an extreme religion revelation, becoming a devoted follower of Hindu Goddes Amba.

Upon becoming devoted to the Goddess Amba, Jani decided to dress as a female follower of the Hindu diety and wears a red sar garment. He is commonly referred to as Mataji, which translated means ‘respected mother’. Jani firmly believes that the goddess he ahs chosen to worship provides him with all necessary substances which ‘Amba’ is said to drop down an aperture in his palate, the roof of the mouth, which consequently allows him to live without food or water.
