International Standard for EVMs

The EVM that Election commission of India is using does not fulfill international standard. There are 7 different standards for EVMs but the Evm do not comply with 2 important standards given below.
01)   If there is doubt about the results of Election then vote of the voter should be verified and the votes should be recounted at voter level and at Machine Level.
02)   As far as the individual voter is concerned he must be assured that the vote he cast has gone to candidate to whom he wanted to vote for.
There is no facility of recounting in  EVM. Recalculation is possible but recounting is not possible in EVM which mean the total number of polled vote can be counted. If the EVM is already tampered with the votes of the voters can not verified even after recalculation. But if ballot paper is used for voting each vote can be recounted if there is any doubt.
If the voters have any doubt in the voting there is no provision for recounting of votes in the machine. What is the meaning of casting the vote if the voter is not assured?
Judicial Pronouncement of use of EVMs.
The issue of possible tampering of EVMs has been raised before Varies High Court.
01)   Madras High Court 2001
02)   Delhi High  Court 2004
03)   Kerala High Court 2002
04)   Bombay High Court 2004
05)   Supreme court of India 2016-17
Since 2000, EVMs have been used in 107 General Election to state level assemblies & 3 General Election to Lok Sabha held in 2004, 2009, & 2014.
The Supreme Court gave decision against EVMs saying that with the EVMs only election cannot be held in free, faire and transparent Manner. Voters do not have belief in the EVMs
The Supreme Court gave historic judgment on 8th October 2013 that to restore its belief in EVMs should be equipped with Voter verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) that can have check on the fraud in EVMs.
The Supreme Court in its verdict has said that the paper trail is an indispensible requirement of free fair & transparent elections and to regain public confidence. However, the Supreme Court has allowed the Election Commission of India to implement the same in a phased manner – phase or time not prescribed. The Election Commission of India has not bothered to implement the paper trail in not more than 0.67% of the entire 2014 elections.
Even though voter verifiable paper audit or paper prints of ballot are also manipulated. There are cases where the candidates themselves have got zero votes in the booths where the candidate and his /her family have casted votes.
After all, what is the system that has safeguarded the fraud of EVM?
Having learned all this facts & figures we demanded to ban EVM, bring back the ballot paper and save the democracy.
